Assignment Modules 1_7/2_7/3_7
Process Document
In these three modules I had to work in three programs - Blender, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe After Effects.
As a result, at the end of all three modules, the resulting work is combined into one whole project.
I created an animation that consists of a 3D background, a 2D character (you can either draw yourself or your OC, I chose my own OC), and possible VFX from After Effects (After Effects combines the 2D and 3D work at the end, thus creating the entire final animation).

First I did a little research on inspiration, style, mood and colors for 2D and 3D work to get an idea of what my own work might look like. I needed to create everything in a simple style with no extra details, so I focused more on simple examples I found.

I then made my own sketches for the 3D background

Initially I had two ideas of what exactly I could model: either I could make a piece of land with a building, or a fragment that looks like a piece of a house, or rather some room and that you can look inside to see the interior. But at the end I decided that it was better to choose the first idea: a land with a building. In my idea it was supposed to be a school.
Sketches for 2D work.

In order to get started with drawing my character, I first had to go through some quick information from the teacher about anatomy and how to draw a straight standing person. I did this by drawing this sort of schematic image (I actually tried to draw it on paper first, but it came out crooked, so I redrew it digitally).
And then, based on that image, I tried to draw my character.
Yes, well, I can say that I managed to combine my personal artstyle with chibi style and simple style, which can be used when drawing vectors in Adobe Illustrator.
3D work.

Here's what the modeling process of my 3D work looks like.
Gradient colors for the whole model (I found some additional information on YouTube on my own about how to color simple 3D models more easier and faster, and I really like this method, it's quite easy and it helps me a lot 👍).
Getting started on coloring and drawing out the 2D character more clearly.

At first I wanted to try to customize the images I transferred to Illustrator and try to more clearly depict the anatomical drawing with shapes and lines, but I failed and so I left it and started working on this part of the assignment a little differently.

The process of creating vector drawing
At first my character looked different, but in the process I changed him and now I think he looks better this way. See the comparison.
So, my character was already ready to be animated on 3D background in After Effects, to start with I tried to do the animation with EVEE render engine, and not to add any other details yet, and I ended up with this at this moment.
Then later when I was finally able to fully render the final model in Cycles, I was finally fully able to do a complete final work by combining all the elements in After Effects, and with a little bit of experimentation I added some details like VFX, background, camera zoom, flying butterfly as just an addition.
I animated my Illustrator character also in After Effects using Duik Angela script.

So, this is what my final work looks like.
